App history and settings can remain on-device. Submitted prompts go to the selected AI provider, while remote MCP requests pass through the Poly-Glot server. The MCP service verifies entitlements and records operational usage metadata; processing providers have their own privacy policies.
With consent in iOS or macOS Settings, Poly-Glot sends limited usage events to PostHog, not prompt text or AI responses. You can disable it in Settings. MCP operational metadata and website Google Analytics/TikTok pixel processing are separate. See the Privacy Policy for details.
OCR (optical character recognition) extracts editable text from photos on your device.
Coming soon: Photo to AI will let users take or choose a photo and add optional text. Poly-Glot will open the iOS Share Sheet; images and text can be shared with compatible apps only. The recipient may process or retain your photo according to its own privacy policy. Text prompts work with eight AI providers; photo attachments are not automatically supported by all eight. Poly-Glot does not itself upload the image to a server.
When released, Photo to AI will be included in the existing 3-day trial and will require Pro afterward.
Voice input can use on-device recognition where supported, with a server-based fallback depending on the device and settings. The MCP transcribe_audio tool sends supplied audio to its configured transcription provider and requires active trial or Pro access.
The app-managed 3-day full-access trial begins with the first eligible Send for a verified account. It does not automatically convert into a paid Apple subscription. Starting the trial and restoring a paid subscription require appropriate account verification.
After trial expiry, 25 free templates remain available, with one single-AI Send shared across free workflows every rolling 24 hours. Pro templates, Compare Mode, BYOM execution and MCP language-processing tools require an active trial or Pro; the trial itself never starts a paid subscription.
